10 digit PSGC code
[edit]Looks like the PSGC code changed from a 9-digit to a 10-digit format (e.g. Aborlan has code 175301000 for Wikidata Property:P988, but is now 1705301000, see here). As a result, the references using Wikidata, such as {{NSCB detail}}, no longer work. This means that Property:P988 for all LGU's, provinces, and regions at Wikidata needs to be updated. Is there a way to do this quickly through a (semi-)automated process? I am not qualified to do this, so is someone willing and able to look into this? Thanks. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 18:53, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
- I'm copying here my answer to the same topic you posted at Wikidata. Some automation can be done, but it's not as simple as inserting a '0' for everything. First, HUCs each get their new unique "province" code and this is the primary reason for the 3-digit province/HUC code. For example, Brgy. 160 in Pasay has "province" code = 811 and municipal code = 00. Second, Negros Island Region got introduced in the meantime so LGUs in Negros and Siquijor should now have 3 codes (the original 9-digit code, the 10-digit code pre-NIR, and the current NIR-based code). For example, Zamboanguita. —seav (talk) 16:45, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. Continuing conversation at Wikidata. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 17:22, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
Could somebody please assess the quality of this article? Right now it's assessed as a Start, but I think it fulfills all of the B-Class criteria. Please ping me when you're done. Thank you and Salamat po, and Happy Easter. Bearian (talk) 03:03, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
- I made a couple of tweaks, per the sources. Not sure if it is complete enough for a B rating, but it is definitely more than a Start, and is easily a C. Dennis Brown - 2¢ 05:06, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
- My rater tool says its 69.6% B-class. So that's good for at least a C but I wouldn't mind giving it a B. D-Flo27 (talk) 12:02, 13 April 2025 (UTC)

Nora Aunor?
[edit]Is anyone else working on her page right now so it could qualify for RD? Given how she's an icon of Philippine media, it would be weird if even now no one was bringing her up to stuff. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 05:13, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- I’ve been doing periodic cleanup and commented on RD nomination. Borgenland (talk) 05:32, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
I've assessed the article as a Start-Class. Do you think it's a C-Class? Bearian (talk) 11:47, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think it's a C-Class yet, most of the paragraphs on the History section lacks inline citations, which are what needed for it to become a C-Class. AstrooKai (Talk) 11:57, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
WP:NOTAFORUM on Talk:Unexplained wealth of the Marcos family
[edit]Hi. I noticed that there were a lot of opinion posts on Talk:Unexplained wealth of the Marcos family.
I added a WP:NOTAFORUM banner on the Talk Page, which I don't think is visible enough. But at least it's there. But should we also be removing the many comments? Or at least archiving them?
- Chieharumachi (talk) Chieharumachi (talk) 08:12, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- Possibly. At least the 2025 posts are all the same person, and I suspect the 2023 post is that person too. CMD (talk) 08:18, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- Definitely remove, if not WP:DENY. Borgenland (talk) 08:32, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- Just wiped them off. Some kind of lock or block may also be necessary. Borgenland (talk) 08:35, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- I'd rather have them deleted than archived per WP:NOTFORUM. There's no useful purpose for them to be archived. AstrooKai (Talk) 08:33, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- I added an additional page notice that will pop up at the top when they edit the page. But yes, most of the time, just remove Forum like posts. These kinds of articles always attracts this kind of attention. If someone keeps reposting over and over (more than a few times), they can be blocked only from editing the article and/or the talk page for that article by any admin, under WP:DE.
